On Sunday, September 24th SEVA hosted Electrify Regina: EV Expo
The Saskatchewan Electric Vehicle Association presented the 8th annual SaskPower National Drive Electric Week in Regina – Presented by Wheaton Kia and REV Auto Sales! We were very fortunate to have multiple companies who sponsored the event this year. SaskPower was on location to discuss their upcoming plans for electric vehicles! Wheaton Kia was on site with the new EV6 and details about their upcoming EV lineup! REV Auto is the only full electric car dealer in Saskatchewan and had used EV’s on display! Unleashed Auto Care – VPS showed us the benefits of vehicle paint protection films, ceramic coatings and their detailing services! FLO Chargers was on location with information about getting a level 2 charger in your home! Prairie Sun Solar had a great display with tons of information about residential solar opportunities! Western Cycle brought a fleet of e-bikes for test rides and information about ownership! Plus one lucky person won a brand new Biktrix E-bike from REV Auto and SEVA. A huge thanks to our event sponsors, vendors and EV owners who spent the day with us!
On Saturday, April 15th SEVA hosted Electrify Regina: EV Expo.
This expo was a celebration of electric technology, designed to showcase the latest advancements in electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and renewable energy sources. REV Auto Group gave away an E-bike from Biktrix and SEVA had a contest to win free coffee for a year from McDonalds.
Visitors were able to see a wide variety of electric vehicles on display, including electric cars, bikes and other types of transportation. Attendees also had the opportunity to speak with industry experts and learn about the benefits of electric vehicles including reduced fuel costs, superior performance, and lower cost of ownership. We gave several dozen electric vehicle and e-bike test rides throughout the day!! Educational presentations from SaskPower, SEVA, Prairie Sun Solar, FLO Chargers, and Tesla Owners Club took place all day long.
In addition to the electric vehicles on display, the expo featured a range of exhibits and presentations focused on renewable energy and sustainable living. Guests were able to explore the latest in solar technology, battery storage systems and more.

National Drive Electric Week 2021
National Drive Electric Week, September 25th to October 2nd, 2021, is an international celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. They are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Thanks to all the hard work of SEVA volunteers/EV owners, we added some new members to the Saskatchewan EV community. Check out the pictures from the event below.
Earth Day EV Rally 2020
Despite not being able to socially interact due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SEVA decided to hold a spring event in support of healthcare workers and the Regina Food Bank. On April 25th, 2020 the Earth Day Electric Vehicle Rally was a success all the while remaining socially distant. We drove past both Regina hospitals honking our horns, “ripped up” the Regina Bypass EV style and raised several hundred dollars for the food bank.

Drive Electric Earth Day 2019
The first ever Drive Electric Earth Day event was organized by SEVA was held at the Saskatchewan Science Centre on April 27th, 2019. It was a great success thanks to all the EV owners who came out and spent their day answering questions and giving test rides to an enthusiastic crowd who showed up in big numbers. We had a few hundred people come through to check out the all the EVs on display, asking questions as well as getting test rides with EV owners/Dealers.
