Earth Day EV Rally
Despite not being able to socially interact due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SEVA decided to hold a spring event in support of healthcare workers and the Regina Food Bank. On April 25th, 2020 the Earth Day Electric Vehicle Rally was a success all the while remaining socially distant. We drove past both Regina hospitals honking our horns, “ripped up” the Regina Bypass EV style and raised several hundred dollars for the food bank.
National Drive Electric Week 2019
National Drive Electric Week, September 14-22, 2019, is an international celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. They are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Thanks to all the hard work of SEVA volunteers/EV owners, we added some new members to the Saskatchewan EV community. Check out the pictures from the event below.
Drive Electric Earth Day 2019
The first ever Drive Electric Earth Day event was organized by SEVA was held at the Saskatchewan Science Centre on April 27th, 2019. It was a great success thanks to all the EV owners who came out and spent their day answering questions and giving test rides to an enthusiastic crowd who showed up in big numbers. We had a few hundred people come through to check out the all the EVs on display, asking questions as well as getting test rides with EV owners/Dealers. Thanks to all the hard work of SEVA volunteers/EV owners, we added some new members to the Saskatchewan EV community. Check out the pictures from the event below.
